This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use theprimepaw.com or buy from us, why we collect it and what your rights are.

Who we are

The Prime Paws is a trading name of SUPREME PAWS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17148285). Registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. SUPREME PAWS LTD is the data controller for your personal data. For any privacy question, email support@theprimepaw.com.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number if you choose to give it, the items you ordered and the order value.
• Payment details: card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Messages: anything you send us by email or through the contact form.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser type and pages visited, which our store platform records to run the site and prevent fraud.

Why we use it and our legal basis

• To process, deliver and support your order (performance of a contract).
• To keep tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
• To prevent fraud, keep the site secure and fix problems (legitimate interests).
• To send news and offers, only if you tick the box at checkout (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.

Who we share it with

We only share the data each partner needs to do its job:

• Lightfunnels, which runs our online store and checkout.
• Stripe, which processes card payments.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), which receives data from the Meta Pixel to measure and deliver our adverts.
• CJ Dropshipping and its delivery partners, which pack and deliver your order. They receive your name, delivery address, phone number if given, and the items ordered.
• Our email provider, which handles our customer support mailbox.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of these partners process data outside the UK, including in the United States, the European Union and China (where our fulfilment partner is based). Where this happens, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses, or on the transfer being needed to deliver your order.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, because UK tax law requires it. We keep support emails for up to 2 years. Marketing consent records are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to show we respected your choice.

Cookies

Our site uses cookies that are needed for the store and checkout to work, such as keeping your basket and protecting payments.

We also use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (Facebook and Instagram). It records actions on our site, such as viewing the product, starting checkout and completing a purchase, so we can measure how our adverts perform and show them to people more likely to be interested. Meta may combine this with information it holds about you. You can control how Meta uses this data in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, and you can block these cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to move elsewhere. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email support@theprimepaw.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to sort it out first.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
